The Ray ebony top is carefully configured to form geometric patterns, the grain changed directionaly to create a pleasing mosaic. The rich inky-black top is not stained, but is naturally dense in its color, letting through traces of rich brown here and there. This grain will naturally vary from cabinet to cabinet. It is polished to a sleek, natural hardness and sheen, gently coated with a clear lacquer finish to protect the surface from fingerprints and tarnishing.
